Public Participation in the Rulemaking Process

The public may participate in the rulemaking/regulatory process by submitting written comments to the Board or by presenting oral comments at Board meetings. When the Board proposes to adopt, amend, or repeal one of its regulations (Title 16, California Code of Regulations, section 1399.400 et seq.), the public is provided an opportunity to submit written comments during the noticed public comments period. Written comments may also be submitted to the Board, either at the meeting or by submitting them to the Board's Executive Officer by mail, facsimile, or e-mail to the addresses below:
