Common Complaints Filed

The Acupuncture Board's Complaint Responsibility Includes, But Is Not Limited To The Following:

  • Use of a controlled substance, or dangerous drug, or alcoholic beverage during practice of acupuncture
  • Conviction of a crime
  • Improper advertising
  • Illegal use or duplication of license
  • False or fictitious name use
  • Gross negligence
  • Repeated negligent acts
  • Incompetence
  • Fee sharing
  • Fraud
  • Sexual misconduct with a patient
  • Infection control

Method of Registering Complaints

In order for the Acupuncture Board to process a complaint, it must be submitted in writing. A complaint form is available for your use and may obtained by either calling or writing to the following:
